ANICENT HELMET MELON CUT ARABIC INSCRIPTION BOTTOM RIM SURFACE FLORAL & CREEPER.

An authentic old-stock Indo-Persian helmet featuring a classic melon-shaped, fluted steel dome with engraved floral and arabesque decoration. Topped with a finial and fitted with a hand-riveted chainmail aventail for neck and shoulder protection.

Exhibits natural age patina and wear consistent with period manufacture. Likely Mughal or Deccan origin, made for a noble or high-ranking warrior.

Made: Made of hand forged steel, hand hammered and hand chiseled. skull made in one piece and has melon cut shape. Arabic inscription: From holy book Koran at bottom rim .

Nasal Guard: Retractable nose guard to give protection to the center of face and has God Allah name engraved.
