Incredible Helmet shows a richly decorated Indo-Persian helmet, known as a khud, similar to dating to the Mughal or Deccan period (circa 16th–17th century).

The helmet features a domed steel skull surmounted by a tall central spike, with an adjustable sliding nasal guard running down the front. The surface is lavishly adorned with gold koftgari (damascened) floral and arabesque patterns, interspersed with cartouches that likely contain Persian or Arabic calligraphy.

A finely constructed chainmail aventail hangs from the lower edge to protect the neck and shoulders. Such helmets were typically associated with high-ranking nobles or elite cavalry .Made : Hand forged steel , hand hammered and hand chiseled , skull made in one piece , the riveted crown Plate with screw mounted, quadrangular spike.

Nasal guard : The movable nasal bar with locking screw engraved with design to protect center of face , flanked by two iron plume sockets. Skull : Bottom rim engraved with Arabic inscription
